September 1996 issue of popular subculture magazine Burst from Japan. During the 90s into the 2000s, Burst published a monthly magazine that focused on the booming subcultures of Japan's urban youth, such as tattoos and piercings, punk and metal music, psychedelics and marijuana growing, motorcycle clubs, death and just about everything imaginable. This issue is early in the production of this important magazine, and typical features include punk fashion and music, tattoo events around the world (before Japanese tattoo events were allowed), drugs, gore and violence and much more.
