Burst Volume 22 from September 1999 featured tattoo convention coverage like the first Tokyo Tattoo Con with Mr Cartoon interview, current Japanese streetwear trends, piercing and other subculture news. Burst was a popular subculture magazine from the 90s and 00s and eventually spun-off to niche sister publications like Tattoo Burst, Burst High and Burst Generration.
