Kazuo Kamimura was a Showa era mangaka and illustrator responsible for some very influential comics, most notably Lady Snowblood. But he produced hundreds of comics for various publications, magazines and his own stories. Unfortunately, he died in the 80s at the young age of 45, and his work truly stayed a part of the Showa era forever.
In the 90s and 2000s, publisher Soft Magic began republishing lost or hard to find erotic manga from the 70s and 80s, and Kazuo Kamimura's Deer Garden became one of those releases.
