Throughout the 70s and 80s, Mieko Kawasaki carved out a style of sex, violence and drama in comics that wasn't very often created by female artists. Female Cat is a vigilante heroine with quite an exciting past. This 1982 printing was published by Comic 64, and a year later became a movie.
