Gekiga illustrator Mieko Kawasaki specialized in erotic thrillers featuring female roles. First released in 1978, Female Teacher (Kyoshi Mega - 教師女鹿 ) is a story created by Reiichii Numa and illustrated by Kawasaki herself. It later received a movie adaptation the year the comic came out, starring Yuki Mami, Takagi Hitoshi and Isayama Hiroko.
Mejika, a pretty Eurasian woman, is hired as a biology teacher at a renowned high school. She is reputed for her iron discipline. But the extremely provocative attitude of Mejika ends up worrying the school's administration.
