Golden Bat - Takeo Nagamatsu (1975)

Golden Bat was a character created by Takeo Nagamatsu in the 1930s, debuting under the comic name Black Bat by Ichiro Suzuki. As the struggles for illustrating the story increased before the war, Nagamatsu abandoned the character and other artists took over. 

Right after the war, Takeo Nagamatsu earned some money illustrating US military portraits. Around this same time, Golden Bat was becoming popular again, so he could resume illustrating his standout character.

Published by Earth SOS in 1975, this two-book series preserves Takeo Nagamatsu's original Golden Bat comics that were published in the 1940s.
