In 2013, the Mitsui Memorial Museum published this book in tandem with their Great Yokai exhibition, featuring demon paintings, Noh masks, statues and much more. Several different mediums are represented, and the completion of this book offers endless reference material. Additionally, Shigeru Mizuki provided his own yokai artworks to supplement the book with a modern approach to the Japanese classics.
