Limited to 1000 copies, this book was compiled by tattooer Bonten Taro to showcase Japan's best tattoo artists of the Showa era. Featuring works by the likes of Horiyoshi 1 and 2 (Yokohama), Horiyoshi II (Tokyo), Horigoro, Horicho, Horijun, Yokosuka Horihide, Horitake and many more. Each picture has been carefully glued into the pages by hand, so many copies of this already limited book have pictures and pages missing. The condition of this copy is very clean and nice for its age, and most of the wear is actually in the slipcase.
