Ken Ishikawa cut his teeth working alongside Go Nagai, creating classic Showa era manga like the Getter Robo series. He eventually cut out on his own and worked with other authors, or entirely by himself, creating new original series and one-offs.
Kaiketsu Shuffle was written by Go Nagai's brother Yasutaka Nagai and illustrated by Ken Ishikawa.
