Great reference material of Japanese traditional paintings and ink works featuring scenes of architecture, plants/nature/landscapes, beautiful patterns, and animals and plants. Lots of fish, sea animals, some tigers, dragons, hawks, birds and other animals that would appear on the sliding doors and room panels of Edo era buildings and homes. 

Works are by the Shijo school, otherwise known as the Maruyama school of painting in the 19th century.
