Larry Flynt started Skin & Ink Magazine as a way to break into the tattoo publishing world at a time when magazines were hot on the shelves. Employing a team of writers and photographers that included Zeke Owen, Joe Vegas, Chuck Eldridge, Bob Baxter, Permanent Mark and many more, S&I quickly became a highly influential part of the tattoo world by bring authenticity to its pages.
