Taisho Romanticism and Showa Modernism: Yumeji Takehisa, Kasho Takabatake and Their Era is a collection of beautiful paintings by the artists to demonstrate their contribution to Japan's future. Yumeji Takehisa and Kashao Takabatake both had their individual styles in their own right, but together the two exemplified Showa modernism - an influence by Westernism and Japan's past put together.
