Popular subculture magazine Burst hit the shelves in the mid 90s and featured everything from tattoos and piercings to drug, sex and violence., fashion and much more. In the early 2000s, Burst's publisher Core started doing Tattoo Burst, a complete look at the growing popularity of tattooing in Japan in the early 2000s.
