Cosmic Mook released a series of four books in the 2000s dedicated to Tattoo Research of Japanese body art. Most known for their Tattoo Tribal magazines, this book series was a stand alone and provided tattooers and enthusiasts a glimpse into the past and present of the country's best artists. Featuring flash artwork by Bonten Taro and Hori Hiro, as well as beautiful photography of tattoos by Horikazu I, Horitoku, Horitomo, Horiyasu and many more greats.
