Namio Harukawa had a long career of publishing his illustrated, curvacious women in various erotic magazines, dating back to the 1960s with Kitan Club and SM Kitan. His drawings started off very simple and to the point, and by the 1970s he had developed his recognizable dominatrix style you see today.
