Autobiographical account of the wife and lifestyle of a well-known tattooer in Japan throughout the mid to late 20th century. The cover is Horicho's wife, and she has a full-color gallery at the beginning of the book. Black & white photos of women showing their tattoos, and you will recognize many of them from the Keibunsha series Japanese Tattoo Ladies.
This book is predominately a text novel but does have some nice tattoo galleries inside.
