Second issue of Writers Block features graffiti from Japan. While its certainly been a pressing issue for many online lately, graffiti has been around Japan for about three decades now. Magazines like Burst, Kaze and HSM documented the early days in numerous issues and features.
Currently, Japanese graffiti seen around the major cities like Tokyo and Osaka is very raw and aggressive. Existing in a modern society with strict laws and tight security, throwies and tags play a huge part in shaping the country's graffiti output.
