For fans of Showa era gekiga and female protagonist comics in Japan, Mieko Kawasaki is one of the very best illustrators to ever do it. Originally published in 1980 and authored by Shiro Azuma, Kawasaki added her own flair of sexyness to the comic and it became quite a well liked series. Throughout the 80s into the 90s, several reprints of Yasha were published. This is the 1984 release.
