Goujin Ishihara (sometimes published under Gekko Hayashi) was an illustrator who provided artworks for a variety of Japanese books, magazines, comics, movies and other media for decades. At the height of his career in the 1950s and 60s, Ishihara was creating up to 100 works in just a 3-day period. His pieces were in high demand for a variety of books.
